Dear CPN Alumni, Friends, and Supporters,
On behalf of CPN Alumni 4 Change, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for our gala honoring the remarkable Maître Leroy Jean-François. Your presence, generosity, and solidarity made this evening truly unforgettable.
Passion, dedication, and service define true leadership—and Maître Leroy embodies all three. Through his teaching, his music, and his mentorship, he has inspired generations of students to dream bigger, serve with humility, and uplift their communities. Il a consacré plus de trente ans à l’enseignement au Collège Pratique du Nord (CPN), une institution missionnaire baptiste fondée en 1942 et dirigée par Madame Edith Robinson jusqu’en 1985. His legacy continues to guide us as we work to expand educational opportunities for the next generation.
This year’s gala was not only a tribute to a great educator but also a vital fundraising effort for our 2024–2025 scholarship program. Thanks to your support, we are one step closer to providing deserving students with the resources they need to pursue their education and build a brighter future for Haiti.
To our sponsors, partners, volunteers, performers, and every individual who contributed—thank you. Your commitment to this mission fuels our progress and strengthens the CPN family.
Together, we honor our past, celebrate our leaders, and invest in our students’ future.
With deep appreciation,
Marjorie M. Lazard, M.D., FACC, MPH
